40 years ago in 1969 Ware Operatic performed The Pirates of Penzance at Ware College, and is still enthralling audiences today.

As a celebration the company will take us down memory lane with a selection of ensembles and choruses from 40 years of music which will include some of the best ensembles and choruses from Merry Widow, Mikado, Pirates of Penzance, and Yeoman of the Guard, Land of Smiles, Merry England and Fiddler on the Roof.

The second half of the concert will include works that the company has not performed and these will include popular numbers from Showboat (Only Make Believe) Rigoletto (Bella Figia) Chess (Anthem) Miss Saigon (Bui Doi) Aida (Grand March), and many others.

This is a concert not to be missed Ware Operatic is renowned for its chorus and most of these numbers will feature the chorus backed up with the companies talented singers which will make it a memorable evening for all our patrons.

Doors open at 6.45 pm for a 7.30 pm start and Wine and Soft Drinks will be available at the bar.
